In addition to garments & garb, GRIT also acts as the northern outpost for Santa Fe’s famed Shiprock Gallery, whose fifth-generation owner has bequeathed GRIT with a museum-quality selection of turn-of-the-century Navajo rugs, weavings, and jewelry. Replete with an abundance of oversized leather chairs and sofas, a Gibson hanging on the wall ready to be strummed, and some local spirits hiding in the wings, GRIT is a distinct call back to the frontier days of haberdashery.
